Mimi the terrier wants a story. She thinks the story should be about space, so Whinnie asks her if she knows a lot about space already. Mimi knows that there are stars in space, and Whinnie tells her that there are also planets. She describes each of the planets in the solar system, and Mimi compares them to life here on Earth.

Whinnie agrees that Mimi understands what the other planets are like, so there's no need to travel into space to see them. There are plenty of different climates right here: hot seasons and cold winters, high mountains and rocky beaches, stormy days and bright sun. This one planet has so much variety that it can help us predict what we'll find on others.
